Small businesses are the basis of modern economies. The ongoing war in Ukraine has had a significant impact on the country’s economy, leading to decrease in GDP, and a rise in unemployment. SUCCESS UKRAINE supports small business growth in Ukraine to boost the economy during and after the war.
What We Do
SUCCESS UKRAINE is a 5-day small business intensive course designed to teach Ukrainian individuals the skills and knowledge needed to create successful small businesses. The courses will cover a range of topics, including business planning, marketing, financial management, and customer service. In addition, the course will teach western economics and business skills, providing participants with a global perspective on business. We train the trainers and deliver them across the regions.

Day 1:

Introduction

Definition of small business, types and characteristics, discussion on the benefits of starting a small business.

Day 2:

Market Research & Business Planning

Market analysis, activity planning, examples of successful small business plans

Day 3:

Legal & Financial Component

Accounting, types of business structures, taxes, reports, documentation

Day 4:

Marketing and Sales

Marketing plan, budget creation, techniques, target audience, assessment of possible risks, viable business plan designing.

Day 5:

Running The Business

Day-to-day operation, customer service, time management and productivity. Updating and refining of business plan with mentors

Grant Opportunities
After completing the five-day course, participants will have the opportunity to apply for a $500 grant to help them pursue their goals of opening a small business!

Despite the ongoing war, Ukraine has a growing middle with a significant demand for goods and services. Supporting small business growth in Ukraine provides an opportunity to tap into this market and help boost the country’s economy.
Classes will be run throughout the liberated regions of Ukraine, and helps regions especially afflicted by Russian aggression. It teaches local individuals how to successfully run their own business, as those persons are significant assets toward economic and societal reintegration.
